How to install Photoshop Plugins in more than one program

You can share your Photoshop plugins between multiple graphics programs on your computer by installing them into a shared folder (eg C:\Plugins\). Unfortunately, this means uninstalling and re-installing your plugins into the new shared folder.

Next, you need to set up each of your graphics programs to look in that folder for your plugins. That way, you can use your plugins in all your programs - even if you have Photoshop CS2, Photoshop CS3 and Corel Paint Shop Pro XI all installed on your computer.

The instructions are different for each program. Click on the program you have below for details, and look at the section called "Setting up your additional Photoshop plug-ins folder":

If you still have problems, let us know which graphics programs you're using and we'll try to give you more detailed instructions.
